The Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy has maintained the integrity of authentic Judaism and Ahavat Yisroel that personified its founder, Rabbi Moshe Y. Hecht.

With 65 years of experience in preparing our students for enrollment in the finest universities, hundreds of our alumni are making their mark in the fields of business, law, medicine, education, the arts and community affairs all over the world.

We promote the philosophy that all Jewish children deserve a day school education by setting reasonable tuition and maintaining a financial aid program. The Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy student body reflects the diversity of our community, with children from all walks of Jewish life discovering their shared heritage together.
