The Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy is conveniently located in scenic south central Connecticut, on Route 34, in Orange, Connecticut.
Students enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings at our award-winning facility. Outside, our students play on our large field and state-of- the-art playground. The school building boasts a roomy atmosphere with large classrooms, synagogue, auditorium, libraries, art room, science lab, gym and computer lab.
As an integral part of the Jewish community, SCHA is supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven.

From Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway - (northbound and southbound):
Take Exit 57, turn right at the end of the ramp. Follow approximately 1.5 miles. When you see a Citgo gas station on your left, make a U-turn. SCHA is the 4th driveway on the right.
From Hartford and points north and east:
Take I-91 South to I-95 South (toward New York). Take Exit 45 (Boulevard). At end of ramp, turn right and proceed down Ella T. Grasso Boulevard, about 2 miles, turn left onto Route 34 (Derby Avenue). Proceed straight through 4 traffic lights (approximately 3 miles) and you will pass a Citgo gas station on the right. SCHA is the 4th driveway on the right.
From Bridgeport and points south and west:
Take I-95 North to Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Road). Turn left at end of ramp. Follow road to the 4th traffic light. Turn right onto Route 1 (Boston Post Road). Take a left onto Racebrook Road (Route 114). Continue on Racebrook Road to the second traffic light and take a right onto Derby Avenue (Route 34). Proceed approximately 2 blocks until you see a Citgo gas station on your left. Make a U-turn.
