Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Are there Part Time enrollment options?
A.
We do offer Part Time enrollment options, which include Half/Full Day options and enrolling your child for a couple of days a week. We will work together with parents to provide a schedule for what is best for each child.
  • There is a minimum enrollment requirement for our classes:

  • Toddlers: Minimum of 2 half days per week

  • Nursery 3: Minimum of 3 half days per week

  • Pre-K: Minimum of 3 half days per week

Q.  Is there an extra fee for the daily enrichment programs?
A.
No.  The fee for the Daily Enrichment Programs is included in the tuition.  In the event that we arrange for a school field trip, there is a small fee to help cover the cost of the trip.
Q.  During the Winter months, are the children given opportunities for gross motor play?
A.
Yes!  Our Preschool has an Indoor Gym with various equipment which promotes gross motor and creative play.  The Indoor Gym includes a trampoline, ball pit, tunnels, ride-on toys, book corner, ball hoppers, sensory walk and more!
Q.  Does the Preschool provide snacks and lunch?
A.
Healthy dairy or parve snacks and lunch need to be sent in with your child for half-day students.  The morning snack must include two different types of food (dairy such as a cheese stick, yogurt, or cottage cheese; fruit or vegetables; and carbohydrates such as chips, crackers, pretzels, or bread.)  We provide an afternoon snack for full-day students.
Q.  Do you accommodate children with allergies?
A.
Yes!  In the event that a child has a particular food allergy, those foods will not be allowed in the classroom.  The school nurse works with both teachers and parents to ensure a safe environment for every child.
Q.  Does my child need to be toilet trained?
A.
We recognize that each child develops at a different pace; therefore we work with parents to encourage children to reach this milestone in a stress-free environment.  The Toddlers classes do not require any stage of toilet training, though we are happy to assist with children that have begun the process.  Children entering Nursery 3 must be in the process of toilet training, however, it will not be coerced.
